Antoni
Bonetti, orchestra conductor and violinist, is Music Director and Founding
Conductor of the 70 member Brisbane
Symphony Orchestra and newly formed Noosa Orchestra. He also lectures at the School of Music-University of
Queensland and is Senior String teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran College, Noosa.

Further, Antoni
has:
- A conducting
repertoire extending to over 200 works by European, Australian and
American composers, world premiere performances of Australian compositions,
various works for orchestra and chorus including two operas and Setting of Beethoven's 7th Symphony, 2nd movement to Psalm 13 for Choir and Orchestra (piano)
- Performed most
major Baroque concerti and has extensive string repertoire knowledge
- Played as Concertmaster
with the Queensland Theatre Orchestra, the Norrlands Opera Sweden
and a member of the Mannheim Chamber Orchestra
- Freelanced with
English orchestras including The Philharmonia, RPO, London Mozart
Players and most Australian Symphony Orchestras
Antoni:
- is violinist
with clarinettist wife Ruth in Quartetto Bonetti, in
solo performances and other ensembles
- adjudicates,
and gives local and international Master Classes, and has a Professional Development lecture: Overture to Conducting
- led various Baroque
instrument ensembles in Germany, Sydney and Brisbane
- was Head of Orchestral
Studies and Director of Strings at St Peters Lutheran College, 1985-2008
- lectured at the
Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University
- speaks German,
Swedish and French
